This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and share your personal information when you use this website, the Platform and Services. By using this website, the Platform and Services, you agree to the collection, use and the sharing of your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, do not access or use this website, the Platform or the Services.

Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, terms used in this Privacy Policy shall have the same meanings as stated in Maidanlah’s Terms of Use.

(a) We collect personal information from you when you create an Account with Maidanlah (and use our Services as an Account holder) or when you use our Platform as an End User. We will carefully analyse the types of information we need to provide our Services and will try to limit the information we collect to only what we really need or as required under Applicable Laws.

(i) open an Account with us;
(ii) subscribe to our mailing lists;
(iii) visit our website and the Platform with a cookies-enabled browser;
(iv) complete any forms or questionnaires on our website and the Platform;
(v) contact or correspond with us in any way;
(vi) sign up for an account on the User Website; and
(vii) make purchases of goods or services on a User Website.

(v) payment information and transaction details;

(xvii) to send you marketing and promotional information about our Services or products or services of our Users and updates about Maidanlah;
(xviii) to enable Third Party Service Providers to contact you regarding their products and services that may be of interest to you;
(xix) such other purposes which are reasonably related to the abovementioned purposes; and
(xx) to comply with legal requirements and Applicable Laws.

(b) As part of using the Services and Third Party Services on the Platform, Maidanlah and Third Party Services may require the collection and use of personal information in relation to you and End Users including the activities or navigation undertaken by you and End Users through the Services and the User Websites.

(c) Maidanlah may also share or transfer your personal information in connection with any proposed merger or acquisition of all or a portion of its business to another company. In such an event, you will have the opportunity to opt out of such transfer of your personal information should the intended use of your personal information by such other company differ materially from this Privacy Policy.

(d) Your privacy is important to Maidanlah. We will not sell, share or disclose personal information with third parties except as described in this Privacy Policy.

3. Information Given On Behalf of Others

If you act on behalf or give us information on behalf of someone else (for instance, in the event that you are opening or operating an Account on behalf of your employer or other third party), you represent and warrant that the other person has appointed you to act on his behalf and has agreed that you can:

(a) give consent on his behalf to the processing of his personal information;

(b) receive on his behalf any data protection notices; and

(c) give consent to the transfer of his personal information overseas.

4. Log Data and Cookies

(a) We may collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit the Platform and Services (“Log Data”). This Log Data may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Services that you visit, the time and date of your visits and the time spent on those pages and other statistics. (c) If you are an Account holder, please note that even after you have opted out from receiving marketing or promotional communications, you will continue to receive information about transactions that occur on your Account, User Website and our Services.

6. Compliance with Laws and Law Enforcement Purposes

We will disclose your personal information where required under Applicable Laws. We may also disclose your personal information to any government or law enforcement authorities so as to, inter alia, (i) protect the property and rights of Maidanlah or a third party; (ii) protect the safety of the public or any person; or (iii) prevent or stop any unlawful and unethical behaviour or action.

7. Security of Personal Information

(a) The security of your personal information is important to us and we take reasonable precautions to protect your information and process it securely. Such measures include, but are not limited to passwords, firewalls, and other standardised industry practices. However, no method of transmission over the internet, or electronic storage, is 100% secure and we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer as a result of unauthorised access to any data or the loss of any data.

(b) If a security breach occurs, we may, but are not obliged to, post a notice on our website, or send an email to you at the email address you have provided to us. Nevertheless, we always strive to protect the security of your information and will constantly review and enhance our information security arrangements and measures.

8. Transfer of Personal Information Outside Singapore

(a) To perform business and administrative functions, personal information will be sent to third parties that we work with (such as network operators or subcontractors). In such instances, your personal information may be transferred out of Singapore from time to time. However, such transfers will be carried out in accordance with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (No. 26 of 2012) (“Act”) and we take steps to ensure that the receiving jurisdiction has in place a standard of protection accorded to personal information so transferred that is comparable to the protection under the Act.

(b) Your consent to this Privacy Policy and your provision of such personal information to us represents your agreement to transfer of your personal information outside Singapore.

By clicking on or activating links and leaving our website, we can no longer exercise control over any personal information which you give to any other entity after leaving our website. 13. Accessing and Correcting Your Personal Information

(a) If you would like to view the personal information we have on you or inquire about the ways in which your personal information has been or may have been used or disclosed by us in the last one (1) year, please contact our data protection officer at dataprotection.DPO@maidanlah.com and include proof of your identity and address and specify the personal information you want access to. We will respond to your request within 14 business days.

(b) You may request us to correct an error or omission in the personal information about you that is in our possession. If you wish to do so, please contact our data protection officer at dataprotection.DPO@maidanlah.com, include proof of your identity and address and specify the information that is incorrect and what it should be replaced with.

14. Withdrawal of Consent

(a) If you would like to withdraw your consent to our collection, use or disclosure of your personal information, please write to our data protection officer at dataprotection.DPO@maidanlah.com. Our data protection officer will inform you of the likely consequences of your withdrawal of consent in 14 business days.

(b) When you withdraw a given consent, we will cease (and cause third parties that we work with such as our data intermediaries and agents to cease) collecting, using or sharing your personal information, unless such collection, use or sharing of the personal information without consent is required or authorised under Applicable Laws.

15. Retention and Disposal of Personal Information

(a) Your personal information will be retained for as long as it is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it is collected or for legal or purposes, or in accordance with Applicable Laws.
